B. Arch, University of Notre Dame

I am an architectural illustrator and designer currently living and working in Washington, D.C. I work as an architectural illustration and design specialist at David M. Schwarz Architects, a design architecture firm where I am fortunate to be involved in some of the most exciting projects that the design world has to offer, including renowned performing arts spaces, enduring university projects, vibrant mixed-use buildings, and many more.

I specialize in versatile digital illustration with a style that borrows much inspiration from traditional Beaux-Arts watercolor and draftsmanship. The illustrations that I produce are thoughtfully composed to highlight the beauty of the architecture while imparting the lively character that only hand-rendering can produce. In my professional work, I use these skills in all parts of the architectural design process from creating captivating concepts, developing an architectural vision, or rendering in detail an illustrative masterpiece.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Architecture and minors in Studio Art and Sustainability. The curriculum at Notre Dame places emphasis on the beauty and power of hand rendering, especially the tradition of architecture watercolor. These years of training were crucial to developing the technique and eye I use in my professional renderings today. The year I spent studying abroad in Rome is where I developed a deep understanding of classical architecture and an appreciation for traditional architecture in all forms, but the lessons learned there apply to a building of any style.

In each project I take on, I seek to exceed the work that I have previously produced, and most of all, to help create something truly beautiful on paper and in the world.
